About the Property

Coventry City Village is a modern form of student accommodation located at Bond St, Coventry, CV1 4FQ, United Kingdom. It provides students with easy access to the city's universities, shops, and transport networks. City Village Coventry offers ensuite rooms. The distance between Coventry University and City Village is roughly 7 minutes on foot, whereas the University of Warwick takes 20 minutes via public transport. In light of this central location and student facilities, City Village student accommodation becomes an ideal place to live when one goes to university.

The estimated population of Coventry is about 345,000 people (Office for National Statistics), and there are many students studying there. The cost of living that a student has to pay is estimated at approximately £900-£1,200 monthly depending on personal habits. The level of safety is rated at approximately 37.94 (Numbeo), and the walkability is about 78 out of 100 (Walk Score), and the employment rate is 74% (Office for National Statistics). The small size of the city centre, relatively inexpensive lifestyle compared with big UK cities, presence of universities, and good transport make this place attractive for students.

Features

The room options offered at the City Village Coventry are ideal for students who need their own room yet prefer sharing facilities with others. The ensuite room comes with a spacious bed, television, study zone, en-suite shower room, refrigerator, microwave, iron, ironing board, and vacuum cleaner; some include lounge zones and more kitchen appliances. This room setup allows students a private space to undertake studies and unwind, along with shared kitchen facilities with other flatmates. The separate study zone is helpful for doing coursework and online lectures, while other household appliances and adequate storage facilities are beneficial for daily activities.

City Village offers plenty of spaces designed for both productivity and downtime. Students can move between the study room, study zones, meeting rooms, and common room when they need somewhere suitable for coursework. The social lounge, games room, cinema room, and social spaces provide opportunities to unwind and meet other residents. The state-of-the-art gym supports an active lifestyle, while cycle storage, laundry facilities, parcel collection, and a courtyard make day-to-day life more convenient. The 100Mbps Wi-Fi is perfect for studying and streaming, whereas CCTV security, contents insurance, and round-the-clock on-site support provide peace of mind. These utilities, including Wi-Fi, electricity, heating, and water supply, are inclusive of the rent and will save you approximately £16 per week.

Location and What's Hot?

The location of City Village Coventry is central, and this makes it easier for students to visit universities, stores, coffee places, eating places, and leisure spots. FarGo Village is an excellent place nearby that comprises independent food outlets, creative companies, and other events. Coventry Market helps the students get their grocery items and daily needs. Students can visit The Pod Café or different eating joints in the centre of Coventry. Healthcare facilities include the University Hospital Coventry, which is accessible through public transport.

There are also several cultural sights in Coventry that are well worth visiting outside class hours. The Coventry Cathedral is undoubtedly one of the most prominent structures in Coventry, while the nearby Herbert Art Gallery & Museum hosts various exhibits concerning the local history, culture, and art. For those who are interested in the automobile industry history, there is a Coventry Transport Museum, which displays numerous examples of old cars. For green space and outdoor downtime, War Memorial Park provides large open areas, walking routes, sports facilities, and places to relax. City Village accommodation Coventry is particularly convenient for students who prefer having most everyday essentials within easy reach rather than relying on long commutes. In addition, the central position of the city will make it possible for you to move around easily, with trains running to cities like Birmingham, Leicester, and London, among others. Students can therefore take many weekend excursions without making their university journey difficult on a day-to-day basis. There are many experiences that can be enjoyed by students looking for Coventry University accommodation during the whole academic year.

Commute

Traveling from City Village Coventry is easy, especially for those enrolled in the center. There is the Coventry Railway Station, which is about 3 minutes away from City Village Coventry, where you can catch trains to different parts of the country such as Birmingham, London, and other places in the United Kingdom. It takes about 18 minutes to get to Birmingham Airport via car from City Village Coventry.
