About the Property

The property is the perfect place to meet like-minded students. Its central location makes it a perfect base for making the most of all London has to offer.

This accommodation has 252 single en-suite rooms for single students and seven double en-suite rooms plus a one-bedroom flat for student couples. There is a large garden area which is popular with residents who like to study outside or even indulge in a bit of sun-bathing during the summer months!

Flats have five, six, or seven bedrooms, and each flat is self-contained with a shared kitchen and dining area. The kitchen and communal corridor are cleaned on a weekly basis.

For the safety and security of residents Paul Robeson House has an entry card system and 24-hour security staff. CCTV is located in and around the building. Other great facilities include a common room with TV, DVD and vending machines. For added convenience there is an on-site laundry and bike storage facilities.

Cancellation Policies
  • Delayed Arrivals & travel restrictions
    If you are unable to travel due to government-imposed travel restrictions, please contact the Amber team with the relevant supporting documentation. We will facilitate the request to review your circumstances and explore the possibility of cancellation/contract amendment. Requests are considered individually, and any outcome will depend on the property's review and applicable booking terms.
  • University Course Cancellation/Modification
    If your course has been cancelled by your university, please reach out to the Amber team with the relevant supporting documentation. We will liaise with the property team to review your request on a case-by-case basis for cancellation. The resolution will be subject to the property's assessment and the terms of your booking.
  • Deferring Studies
    If you have deferred your studies, please contact the Amber team and share your updated university documentation. We will notify the property team to review your request for cancellation/contract amendment. Requests are assessed individually, and the final outcome will be subject to the property's review and booking terms.
  • Early termination by students
    Cancellations require a replacement tenant to be found. If the student cannot provide a replacement, the student must discuss available options directly with the property team.
  • Replacement Tenant Accepted
    A replacement tenant must be found for cancellation. If the student cannot provide a replacement, they must discuss options directly with the property team.
  • Extenuating Circumstances
    Contract release requests may be considered by the Release Review Panel under exceptional circumstances. Eligible circumstances include: Death of the tenant. Serious illness or serious incident affecting the tenant. Illness or disability requiring withdrawal from the university course. Illness or death of an immediate next of kin requiring the tenant to leave their course. Other genuinely exceptional circumstances. Appropriate supporting evidence
  • Other cancellation policies
    Cancellation arrangements must be discussed directly with the property team where a replacement cannot be provided. The property team will not respond to agents regarding arrival arrangements; students must make arrangements directly with the property teams.
  • Payment and Fees

    Booking Deposit

    A £400 advance rent prepayment is required at the time of accepting the accommodation offer. The advance rent prepayment is credited towards the first rent instalment.

    Pay In Instalment

    Rent can be paid in instalments. Instalment dates vary depending on the tenancy agreement and are detailed in the accepted contract.

    Mode Of Payment

    Students paying by instalments must set up a Recurring Card Payment (RCP). International students can make payments in their local currency via the global payment portal using bank transfer, card, or supported eWallet payment methods.

    A UK-based guarantor is required. The guarantor must be able to provide proof of eligibility. Guarantor agencies are not accepted.
